Business Development & Municipal Partnerships Manager

Location  Florida or another major Gulf / southern coastal market Type  Field-based, full time Languages  Fluent English; professional Spanish strongly preferred

This is an entrepreneurial, field-based and commercially central role. You will be the person who opens doors with coastal municipalities, builds the relationships that lead to pilots, and turns those pilots into durable operating partnerships.

What you'll do

  • Market intelligence — identify priority coastal markets, seaweed volumes and decision-makers.
  • Stakeholder mapping — map municipalities, operators, authorities and partners across target regions.
  • Relationship development — build trusted relationships with public and operating stakeholders.
  • Bluechar proposition — present the model credibly to municipal and commercial audiences.
  • Pilot origination — develop and structure practical pilots with clear success criteria.
  • Pilot execution — coordinate stakeholders and partners to deliver pilots in the field.
  • Commercial conversion — move successful pilots into long-term agreements.

Who you are

  • Comfortable originating relationships and operating with autonomy.
  • Credible with public-sector and commercial stakeholders alike.
  • Practical and commercially disciplined, with strong follow-through.
  • Willing to work in the field across Gulf and southern coastal markets.
